Meet Denny Bleak our Principal Broker
Denny is the first member of our team that we are highlighting. Denny is more than happy to talk about great things that are happening with the members of the Exit Realty Plus Utah team, but he is very humble about his own talents.
Denny is the Principal Broker and a part owner of Exit Realty Plus Utah. He has been with the company for 3 years. A Real Estate Broker needs to first have about three years of experience as a real estate agent before that can work on getting their license as a broker. Denny has the responsibility of making sure that there are sales meetings and he facilitates a lot of the training that happens in the office. He is also involved in hiring agents, answering questions, agent accountability, and litigation when it is necessary.
Mr. Bleak has been in the business of loans and real estate for over 20 years. He has seen many changes especially in the ways that realtors and customers communicate. There are many potential buyers who still prefer to communicate in person and to go out and see every listing that is within their criteria. More recently, many customers prefer to tour homes online and to narrow down what they want on our website before going and seeing a property in person. Successful businesses such as Exit Realty Plus Utah have learned to embrace these changes and to still offer personlized service to each and every customer.
Denny loves to train and support the people in his office. He even joked that he imagines that he always secretly wanted to be a teacher. In a recent meeting, he asked a new realtor to share a great experience that she had had at an open house and the entire team celebrated with her. He also encouraged others to share what they have learned.
He chose to work with Exit Realty for several reasons. One unique reason that sets Exit apart is their 10, 7, 5 Program. Realtors who introduce realtors (either new or realtors with previous experience) to Exit Realty and support them as they grow their Exit Realty business receive a monetary thank you from the company. A realtor who has 8 or more closings a year and works full time receives a 10% residual of what the realtors they have introduced earn. This money does not come from the new realtors; it is provided by the company itself. If the realtor has less than 8 closings or they are working part time, they receive a 7% residual. If the agent were to pass away, their spouse will continue to receive a 5% residual for the rest of their lives. This plan means a lot to Mr. Bleak because it gives him peace of mind knowing that his wife would receive this 5%.
Exit definitely has a close team feel. During meetings, realtors rejoice in each other's accomplishments, and many realtors offer their own time and resources to help other realtors with any questions or concerns they might have. Denny is a great example of this. He loves to help lift up realtors and to do what he can to help them to reach their potential.
Denny has had to slow down a bit after facing some health issues. He loved to golf, play acoustic guitar, go to Utah Jazz games, and to travel. He is on the upswing and he has started to do some traveling again. He loves to celebrate other people much more than he cares to talk about himself. He is most comfortable giving of his time and talents.
Exit Realty Plus Utah is a better place because of the emphasis that Denny has place on teamwork, integrity, and honest business practices.
