10 Mouth Watering Utah Foods!
Summer heat has arrived in Utah, it’s time to change the way you eat. Utah has some absolutely amazing foods to enjoy in the summer.
Utah tomatoes really do taste different (and much better) than those grown out-of-state. If you’re really lucky, you have a garden in your backyard. Go out, pick a tomato and bite right into it while it’s still warm from the sun. If you don’t have a garden, visit a farmers market or a produce stand to get your Utah tomatoes.
Head up to Bear Lake, where the temperature might be a little cooler and the raspberries are sweet and juicy.
We make our shakes thick and creamy here in Utah. Try a raspberry shake while you’re at Bear Lake (see above). Don’t forget to get a spoon...you’ll need one!
Sweet, Utah corn, slathered with butter, salt and pepper. You can boil it, or try grilling it!

The whole Green Jello thing is really overrated, isn’t it? But let’s be honest...you’ll probably find yourself preparing (or eating) jello salad at a family reunion or picnic this summer. Which is OK, because Jello is actually a great summer food - it’s cool and slurpy and refreshing on a hot day.
