Tiny Homes are budding!
With prices of homes soaring at the moment, Tiny Homes are becoming attractive and popping up everywhere. Cities like Seattle, Austin, and Asheville, NC, as well as central Florida, and Colorado Springs are known for hot spots for these budding homes.
What makes a tiny home? Tiny homes are usually around 500 square feet, give or take. That’s just a fraction of the typical U.S. home size at about 1,500 square feet, according to the National Association of Realtors®. Many of the homes are on wheels so owners can park them on their own property or in a RV park. They cost way less, and much less to run.
Tiny homes aren't just cute — they're part of a growing movement that promotes sustainable living. Many designers have figured out innovative ways to make these small homes amazingly well-equipped.
Some include all the expected features: a living space, full kitchen, sleeping area/loft, and a compact bathroom. One owner decided to sell exact replicas of his own tiny home from all the responses he has received.
The materials used for these homes are anything from toxin-free and salvaged material, shipping containers, basically any sustainable material.
Some travel in their tiny homes which are basically cabin-like RVs. You’ll never get home sick with this set up.cab
