Update to Sell

How to maximize a return at resale without breaking your bank.

1. Start with the Bathroom

Remove old wall coverings, a fresh coat of paint. Replace old shower doors, update fixtures.

2. Landscaping

Adding a splash of color in the front yard adds curb appeal. Keep it to two colors, overdoing might be too much. Create a focal point by laying a walkway or fountain, always eye-catching.

3. Kitchen Remodel

Replace old light fixtures with recessed lights, updated countertops, replace old vinyl flooring!

4. The Exterior

Remove old awnings, outdated. Wrought-iron railings could be updated with wood supports. Porches look fantastic with pergola columns, also adds curb appeal!

5. Basement Remodal

New drywall, always above from concrete floors (in case of floods). Add a wet bar and a refrigerator. Always cover the concrete floors with a modular subfloor, easy to replace in case of a flood.
