Getting your home ready to show doesn't need to be time consuming. Here are some easy, last minute tips to ensure the perfect first impression:
Brighten and Lighten
Open drapes and blinds. Light filled rooms are always more appealing. Make sure your windows are clean, both inside and out. Turn on all the lights in your home, even during the daytime.
Spark your buyer's imagination by appealing to their senses
Set the dinner table for a formal dinner. Creating the proper atmosphere in a room can help a buyer envision themselves living in your home.
If it's a cold day, light the fireplace. The ambiance created from the warmth can be very inviting.
